Today is our 14 week mark. Babycenter.com says “Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb!” LOL It’s also the size of a lemon. Sounds good to me.
I’ve been feeling fine except for a few things. I found out that if I miss a meal, I throw up…and that if bread SMELLS like mold (even though I checked and it was fine…but there were pieces in the bag that started to mold…ick) I’ll throw that up too. Also, for some reason, I end up with a headache almost every night. It usually starts around 6 or 7 and if I don’t take something for it, my head is killing me by the time I hit the pillow. I don’t like taking too much Tylenol so I try to wait it out but some nights I just have to take some. Not sure what that means or if I’m missing something (iron maybe?) but I need to figure something out.
Evie is still insisting it’s a girl…Spencer is still hoping for a boy. I think we’re going to take the kids with us when we find out – I think it might be fun for them to be there when we find out. That way they can see what i mean about the ultrasound machine. I tried to explain that it “takes pictures through my tummy” of the baby…but I think they’re imagining my tummy opening a little for the machine. Who knows what kids are thinking…but maybe this will help. LOL About 6 more weeks til we find out. My next appointment is next Thursday so we’ll see how everything is looking.

Water my Dear. Drink lots more water and you won’t get headaches, I promise. So excited for you!

reid was sad when the tech said the baby was a girl! it was so funny to see his face, i couldn’t stop laughing so we had to wait until my belly stopped shaking before we could see more!
I would definitely take your kids! it’s a great experience for them! I think my kids were thinking they were going to see a movie or something like that because they knew they would be seeing it on the T.V.
sorry about the headaches, but I think water would help also. just keep a water bottle close by and you’ll be drinking (and peeing) like crazy! (sorry for the novel!)

I agree about taking the kids with you! Then no one is mad that it’s not the sex they wanted – maybe! Ask you doc about the headaches. Water sounds good but an Amanda massage sounds better!

If you’d quit hogging Amanda and send her back to me, maybe I could get a massage! Headaches are not very frequent any more – thank goodness! – but come on rare occasion
